Dr. Casey G. Cegielski
Dr. Cegielski, his wife Samantha, and two sons live in Auburn, Alabama. Dr. Cegielski has been an avid fitness enthusiast for more than 30 years and enjoys spending his time in the gym and coaching his sons in their sporting activities.
In 17 years as an Auburn University faculty member, Dr. Cegielski has demonstrated strong competencies in both research and teaching in the area of information technology. To date, he has published more than 60 manuscripts in leading international information systems journals and proceedings. His past and present research streams focus on the strategic use of information technology, inter-organizational information systems, business analytics, and information security. As an instructor teaching in the area of information systems at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, Dr. Cegielski has been recognized numerous times for his excellence in the classroom.
Additionally, Dr. Cegielski is a highly skilled provider in the development, management, and implementation of comprehensive information security and assurance services. Specializing in "security visioning," strategy development, and policy articulation, Dr. Cegielski has more than 15 years of executive-level professional experience in the health care, financial services, and manufacturing industries. He holds several professional licensees including: CISSP, CISA, and CRISC.
